Can we apologize to Alan?

I saw "The Imitation Game Film" yesterday, which is talking about Alan Turing, who was a pioneering English computer scientist, mathematician, logician, cryptanalyst and theoretical biologist.
I'm surprised to see The Great Britain transact in this way with such an extraordinary person. I know that the computer that I'm writing now this article is the fruit of his efforts.
It seems that false politicians and swindlers have the reins of this world, No place for those who try to build bridges, and no place for mind and science voice.
Alan Turing's short life accurately reflects the cruelty of the human towards the different other, selfishly, despite everything. I think we have always to dig and search to understand the human being's behavior, how he can impose his perception, opinion and position even if he is an ignorant and fool one.
At the end of the film I felt frustrated. Alan chose to end his life, and those who saved their lives resumed normally!
After changing his status from winner to loser:
 Can we apologize to Alan?
And what does he benefit from that?
I don't know!
